From jewelry to electronics, from the sun to the divine, from rivers to blood. The elusive gold contained in electronic instruments to conduct energy, is extracted first from the earth. Icaro Lopez de Mesa‘s performance installation swings on the idea of what happens when a grain of gold is extracted, to be installed in microchips and circuits of electronic devices.
