Making use of fragments of the recordings made in Colombia by ethnologist Konrad Theodor Preuss at the beginning of the 20th century, the duo INCOMODO will use free improvisation, an electric guitar, and modular racks to challenge the colonial power structures present in these historical recordings. Through musical experimentation and reinterpretation, this thought-provoking performance aims to subvert the homogenizing effects of colonialism and promote a better understanding of the context behind these recordings.
